The 5th Performing Arts Market in Seoul (PAMS) will be a global stage, where performing arts professionals, including 15,000 delegates from Korea and 100 representatives from five continents, come together to engage in diverse discussions, in the hopes of developing collaborative solutions that promote the advancement of the performing arts – covering the comprehensive process of planning, creation, production and distribution of performing arts.

This year’s Performing Arts Market in Seoul will begin with discussions on the North American Performing Arts Market. In its programming, PAMS 2009 will feature various forums, including a survey on Distribution Networks in North America; and will also offer presentations such as The Incubation for the Performing Arts and LIP (Looking for International Partners) among others. In addition, the World Music Academy and Forum, which will feature a number of world music professionals, will be an event that is not to be missed.

Dive into a sea of new ideas and information on local (Korean) and overseas performing arts organizations, starting with the fifteen PAMS Choice Showcase and Overseas Showcase productions. The list goes on, as you navigate through a series of nearly 80 booth exhibits representing performance groups, venues and organizations.
